Keith, may I ask why in the hell you have over 151 websites??? More importantly, what type of hosting were you paying for with GoDaddy? I am about to pay for 2 years in advance with GoDaddy but will make sure to pay the additional $29.99 a month for the Managed Backups as it appears this would resolve both issues described in the above 2 posts. A dedicated server has a RAID option so now I'm thinking the additional $14.99 a month will be worth it. Thanks for your post guys...I need to seriously consider if I should pay more for the "piece of mind".

I was a die hard Godaddy fan for six years. I thought it was normal for them to lose data from time to time. Every time I FTP a system I had to clean up several data files that they lost. Then when my website would go down for several hours at a time I began to get concerned, but I thought all hosting companies must be the same so I accepted it. I was also annoyed that they locked me out of my site every three months and forced me to change my password to get back in. But when all 151 of my websites went off the internet for 48 hours that did it! I moved all my stuff to hostgator and have not lost a single file since!
